
Welcome to the Zeta Delta Chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon at the University of La Verne, California
Mu Phi Epsilon is a coeducational, professional music fraternity whose mission is:
- To advance music in the community, nation, and throughout the world;
- To promote musicianship, scholarship, music therapy, and music education, with emphasis on service through music; and
- To enhance loyalty to the Alma Mater and develop true bonds of friendship.
Mu Phi Epsilon was founded by Dr. Winthrop S. Sterling and Elizabeth Mathias Fuqua on November 13, 1903, at the Metropolitan College of Music, Cincinnati, Ohio. The Fraternity’s membership is composed of collegiate chapters, alumni chapters and allied members.
The Zeta Delta Collegiate Chapter was installed March 3, 2007 and serves the Music Department and the University of La Verne California
