Lakewood, CO, Initiated to Mu Rho 10/22/1955 Denver Alumni BM Univ. of Denver Extensive career with performances with Ny Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Denver Symphony and NYC Opera. Appeared with: Siles, Milnes, Peters and Peerce. 2 concert tours of Italy and 1994 Russia. Voice teacher and coach. Founder & Exec. Dir. Colorado Center for the Vocal arts. 40 operatic roles plus oratories, art songs. Choir Director: Holy Cross Lutheran Church and lay pastor. Winner: Regional Met Auditions. Grants: Ford foundation, Swers Concour de Geneva, Rochefeller Foundation and International Institute of Education for international competition in Europe. Faculty member at Metropolitan State College. Voice of the Homeland (Moscow) "pure light translucent voice… Mrs. Fenald is a charming soprano - a "star of singing." We would be most happy if she could organize a school in Moscow."
