Welcome to the Gamma Sigma Chapter
at California State University Dominguez Hills

Mu Phi Epsilon is a coeducational, professional music fraternity whose mission is:

  • To advance music in the community, nation, and throughout the world;
  • To promote musicianship, scholarship, music therapy, and music education, with emphasis on service through music; and
  • To enhance loyalty to the Alma Mater and develop true bonds of friendship.

Mu Phi Epsilon was founded by Dr. Winthrop S. Sterling and Elizabeth Mathias Fuqua on November 13, 1903, at the Metropolitan College of Music, Cincinnati, Ohio.  The Fraternity‚Äôs membership is composed of collegiate chapters, alumni chapters and allied members.  Gamma Sigma was installed in 1976 and serves the Music Department of California State University Dominguez Hills.
